Circuit - Wherein the Smack Talk Kills

WHO is talking smack?

HOW out of control is the smack talk?

SHOULD the smack talk be controlled?

WHAT is controlled smack talk like?

It's not nearly as good as the out of control stuff. Out of control means it's better... that's what it means. At least it does when you're referring to smack talk. Airline pilots... it's better if they're in control. Also the Ghostbusters, but they're always in control, so that's kind of pointless to even mention.

Movies: Source Code

Movies: Source Code

Hot on the heels of such imaginative action thrillers as “Inception” and “The Adjustment Bureau” comes “Source Code,” which like its predecessors features an A-list cast, sure-handed direction and a head-scratching premise.

The movie opens with some gorgeous aerials of downtown Chicago.  Then we zoom into a fast-moving passenger train.  Aboard is Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal), who moments ago was piloting an Army helicopter in Afghanistan.  He’s befuddled, to say the least, and even more so when Christina (Michelle Monaghan, from “Gone Baby Gone”), the attractive young woman sitting across from him, seems to think he’s another person entirely.

KahBang to bring summer concert series to the Maine State Pier

Portland, Maine.  April 12th 2011 - The group responsible for the annual KahBang Festival has partnered with the City of Portland, Maine to transform the Maine State Pier into a concert venue home to outdoor shows and entertainment throughout the summer season.  This 2011 music series will run from June to September, and will revitalize the State Pier into a destination attraction for musical performances from top-tier national talent.

The Maine State Pier is a perfect venue for this inaugural concert series due to its ideal waterfront location in Maine’s largest city – a city with an abundance of quality indoor venues, but lacking a consistently operational outdoor venue.  KahBang seeks to reinvigorate this valuable resource to create a nationally-recognized ocean-front venue that showcases the beauty and prosperity of Portland.  When people think of outdoor music in Maine, they’ll think of music on the State Pier.
