Portland Daily Photo shows the Forest City in a new light

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Corey Templeton has an eye for Portland.

He takes pictures most every day of Portland and posts them to his blog Portland Daily Photo.

The set-up is pretty simple, but Templeton's dedication to photography is evident in the quantity and quality of photos he takes.

Some days are random images, some are themed for the weather or other events happening in Portland.

Templeton says his site been visited by more than 66,000 people since he started it in 2008.

He works full time and goes to school as well, so he doesn't get a chance to take pictures every day.  Days he does get out he'll snap a bunch of photos and release them later on.

Circuit - Wherein It May Not Be a Bad Thing

WHY doesn't the samurai need a disguise?

WHERE will Sam get a disguise?

WHAT will he disguise himself as?

WILL the disguise involve hooch?

Most likely. There's little with these two that doesn't involve hooch these days. Besides, hooch makes any disguise better... think about it.

But before you think about anything else, you should probably read today's Circuit! It's not disguised as anything else. Once, it tried to pass as an episode of "The Family Circus," but that didn't last too long.

Go read some Circuit!

Fit at Five: Indoor Rowing

On this Fit at Five we are taking a look at how some people are reinventing their summer workout, and bringing it indoors during the cold winter months. The Portland Community Rowing Association teamed up with CrossFit Casco Bay last year to create a fun event for both novice and experienced athletes to show off their indoor rowing skills. February 5th marked the 2nd year of the event, and the competition was fierce.

Since rowing is actually a big part in the CrossFit training program the fact that the CrossFit facility is used for rowers to train during the winter makes perfect sense. The indoor rowing machines, called ergs, give a great full body workout.
