March, 2012 (Portland, ME) – Skipping the tropics this year? Sign the kiddies up for ROCK CAMP with the Maine Academy of Modern Music (April 16th – 20th at Breakwater School) and relax.
MAMM’s epic ROCK CAMP series provides young aspiring musicians a place to learn rock ‘n’ roll and have FUN! This weeklong crash course in modern music covers songwriting, recording and tips on how to start a band – everything it takes to get out of the garage and into the studio or on stage.

Since 2007, the Maine Academy of Modern Music has been providing music lessons, venues and networks to help musicians navigate the world of rock. Students of all ages and abilities are introduced to innovative and inclusive music programs that promote resiliency, self-expression, creativity and determination. MAMM offers Rock Camps, Music Lessons, Rock Bands, Gigs and the annual high school rock off called The MAMM SLAM.
