PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Maine Red Claws had only eight players dress for the second consecutive game, but they still managed just enough to beat Erie 114-110. 

Frank Gaines led the way for the Red Claws with 31 points.  Fellow guard Tyshawn Taylor had 23 points and nine assists, while center Daniel Orton added 22 points. 

Maine (18-24) are still mathematically alive for the postseason six games out of the eighth and final playoff spot.
