Police searching for suspects responsible for throwing fireworks inside car
PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police are looking for the suspects who tossed fireworks into a car that was parked on Cumberland Avenue early in the morning on July 17th.
A security camera captured a man standing next to the car. He gets into a gray vehicle and his passenger tosses the fireworks into the victims car as they drive off. The fireworks explode for about 20 seconds before extinguishing.
The owner of the car reported the damage the next morning.
The suspects car was last scene heading west on Cumberland Ave near Avon Street. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Portland Police department.
