Man robs CVS at knife point, police looking to identify suspect

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police said they are looking for a man that robbed a CVS pharmacy in Portland Thursday night. 

Portland Police said the suspect entered the CVS on Forest Avenue, displayed a knife and demanded cash from the clerk. 

Police describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 5’ 10” tall, medium build, and wearing a long-sleeved white and tan plaid shirt, beige winter hat over a Patriots hat, dark grey or black sweatpants, black shoes, and a black scarf covering his face.

Officials said the suspect fled in the vicinity of Dartmouth Street after the robbery. 

Police are asking anyone that may have observed the crime or that may have come into contact with the suspect to call The Portland Police Department at  207-874-8533.
