Pink is ready to go for day 2 of the USODA New England Champs!
Julia Johansson is from Miami and very excited to launch!
This team is serious about the Pink "flight"
Lime green is the second "flight" of the "fleet" to launch. 75 sailors in each.
Around 310 sailors from all over North America are launching their sailboats! Very exciting!
Pink flight is in, green flight launching. It's quite a beautiful day. As they say "have fun, sail fast!"
Team Canada getting in position. Here we go! Pink flight goes first.
Just a sea of white sails. They all have to be the same size and are very lightweight.
Annapolis Yacht Club coach gets his sailors ready. Sailors are ages 7 to 14.
"The Speedo" is in flight yellow. There are bags of air on boats to keep them upright!

The Lindsay Lord uses GPS to find direction of wind and tells other boat to set start buoy there.
The Lindsay Lord is the primary committee boat that tells the sailors when to start. Awaiting horn.
