The Center for Grieving Children to sponsor the AFSP National Survivors of Suicide Day

The Center for Grieving Children is sponsoring The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s (AFSP) National Survivors of Suicide Day.  This event will provide an opportunity for individuals who have lost someone they know to suicide to connect with others who have experienced a similar loss. It is designed to be a day of healing, empowerment, support, and sharing. It is a day for remembering those we love who have died.

Every person who dies by suicide leaves behind survivors --- loved ones left shocked, grieving, and struggling to understand and cope with their heartbreaking loss. Those left behind often struggle with all of those “Why…?" and “What if…?” questions.
